From January 2009 to April 2010, Nik was a strategy consultant with Simon-Kucher & Partners (SKP), the world's leading pricing consultancy.
During his time at SKP, Nik worked across a range of industries and clients, including telecoms, higher education, media, B2B logistics, automotive, finance and retail. Principal client work included projects for the Open University and Skype. Nik gained specialist expertise in higher education whilst working for the Open University on tuition fee pricing and strategy.
In summer 2010, Nik co-authored the White Paper, How prepared are English universities for a more deregulated undergraduate tuition fees environment?, published June 2010 in conjunction with Evidence Consulting Ltd.
In December 2009, Nik was published on the cover of The Pricing Advisor, the journal of the Professional Pricing Society, with the article, 'How newspapers can make money out of online content'.
